If you are looking to pick up some cheap or rare vinyl records in Hong Kong, one of the best places to be is the monthly VINYL RECORD SALE. This event, organised by NICK LANGFORD/VINTAGE VINYL HK, has been going on for a couple of years at least and it always draws a good number or dealers/sellers and diggers. I have been lucky enough to participate in it for about a year, selling hip hop, R&B, soul, and other random gems.
The next event is this Saturday, 17th of November 2018, at CULTURE CLUB in Soho, Central.
If you have already been, then you know you can expect some good vibes and awesome records to dig through,
but if you have not, make sure to pop over to check out the crates.
There are sellers selling rock, pop, Cantonese, Japanese, afro, techno, hip hop, soul, breaks, etc…
You name it, it’s probably there…
Also, last event was the first time I got to go on the turntable and spin some records from my personal collection, and it seems people were digging the vibe, so will try to bring some more uptempo beats to help diggers get in the mood.
Drop by, say hello, and enjoy the good vibrations!
